Recently special children's programmes have been introduced every Wednesday afternoon when school is out.
Children who live in Gwanda town are invited to come to the library for special activities organised by the librarian and his assistants
Some like to read on their own
Others join in the special activities
When the library is full, some will meet outside on the grass
